Pataleshwar Cave Temple

Karla Caves
The karla Caves are the ancient Buddhist caves, built during the 5th century AD. They depict the rock cut architecture. It is a protected monument and the Grand Chaitya cave, or cave number 8 is the best preserved and largest.

Aga Khan Palace
Sultan Aga Khan III built this palace in Pune to help the poor who were hit by famine during 1892. Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi interned at this place between 1942 and 1944, after the Quit India Movement. This place thus holds a great historical significance.
