The Sivaganga Park is a recreational park in Thanjavur. It is also at about 10 minutes distance from the Brihadeeswara Fort. There are many good food outlets near Sivaganga park and one can stop for meals around here.

About Thanjavur Maratha Palace
It is the official residence of the Bhonsle Family. The Bhonsle empire ruled the Tanjore region in the 11th century. For privacy, some parts of the Palace are not open for the tourists, but one can enjoy their maximum time with picturesque location. It is at a distance of about 10 minutes walk from the Royal Palace Museum.
