Rangpanchmi
Rang Panchami is celebrated 5 days after the Holi festival. Unlike holi, which is a festival of colors, Rang Panchmi in Indore is more about music. One can find traditional folk songs in the streets. The municipal corporation of Indore sprinkles colored water in the streets on this day. This festival usually falls in the month of March or April.

Anant Chaudas
This day marks the end of 10 days of Ganesha Festival. In the earlier time, when the textile mills were the only and main industry, the mill workers contributed money to arrange Jhanki or the carnival of floats of Ganesha idols. In present time, large processions of huge Ganesha idols are taken out on the night of Anant Chaudas. One can observe a fare like atmosphere in Indore on this day. This festival is usually celebrated in the month of September.
Ahilya Utsav
Ahilya Utsav is celebrated every year to commemorate the death anniversary of the brave Holkar queen of Indore. It is also celebrated in the month of September. The vibrant past of the town is relieved on this day. It is an important day for the Holkar community and also for the Maheshwars, the entire community set up by the efforts of Queen Ahilya. Many cultural and art exhibitions are organised during this time.
