How to reach Vrindavan?
Vrindavan is a small town in the banks of Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh, India. The place welcomes numerous visitors from different parts of the world. Vrindavan is dear to people because Lord Krishna spent his childhood in this town. One can find here around 5000 temples dedicated mainly to Lord Krishna.

Reaching Vrindavan via air
There is no airport in Vrindavan. But, you can take cab from Agra airport (Kheria airport) to Vrindavan. From Agra airport, Vrindavan is only 53 kilometers away.
Alternatively, you can reach Vrindavan from Delhi airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport ) by taxi or cab. Vrindavan is about 128 kilometers far from Delhi Airport.
Reaching Vrindavan via train
You can reach Mathura station by train and then get rickshaw, or taxi to reach Vrindavan. We will not suggest rickshaw unless you are familiar with the route and pricing.
Train is also not suitable during the festive times like Janamashtami and Holi. during these times, the trains are excessively crowded.
Reaching Vrindavan via road
Either you can use public buses or private cab or car to reach Vrindavan. But the problem is that there is no direct bus route from major cities in India to Vrindavan. You will have to arrange transport from Mathura.
Booking intercity cab can be useful and economic if you have family and friends to travel with.
There is an even better plan. You can grab taxi from your nearest airport or from your city for the entire day. This way you can hop around the city without the pressure of finding route.
