Ganesh Chaturthi is a popular Hindu festival celebrated mainly in the Maharasthran region. This festival is dedicated to the elephant-headed Lord Ganesha. As the name suggests, celebrations begin from the fourth day of the fortnight generally in the month of August or September. This year, it will be celebrated on the 4th of September.
