MUMBAI – GOA: Goa in the monsoons is cheap, not very crowded and wonderfully green. The 500-kilometres is a delightfully picturesque drive, with paddy fields, coconut palms and areca nut plantations. You can stop by at Karnala Bird Sanctuary, home to over 150 species – Drongos, Paradise flycatchers, Red-vented bulbuls and more. MUMBAI-MAHABALESHWAR: Nearly a 5-hour drive from the main city, Mahabaleshwar is a popular holiday hill station and honeymoon spot in the Western Ghats of India. There are many tourist attractions in Mahabaleshwar like forts, temples, lakes and waterfalls. Some of them being Pratapgarh Fort, Venna Lake, Krishna Temple and Lord Mahabaleshwar Temple.

MUMBAI-NASHIK: Located in north-west Maharashtra, 171 kilometres from Mumbai, Nashik is famous for its association with the epic Ramayana. Major tourist attractions are the Buddhist rock-cut caves.

MUMBAI-SURAT: Surat is a major industrial city rich in textile mills. Some famous places in Surat are the Chintamani Jain Temple, Diamond Industry, and Sardar V Patel Museum.

5. OOTY: A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, this South Indian hill station has enough exciting elements to impress any traveller. From Stone House to Botanical Garden and Ooty Lake to Nilgiri Mountain Railway, the vintage feel is still alive in Ooty.
6. VELLORE: The city is famous for various forts, temples and picnic spots. Vellore Fort, Jalakandeswara Temple, Srilakshmi Golden Temple and the small but beautiful hill station Yellagiri are amazing sights.
7. HYDERABAD: It has the perfect combination of historical forts, temples and other picnic spots. Golconda Fort, Char Minar, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Mecca Masjid, Shri Jagannath Temple, Birla Mandir, Ramoji Film City, Birla Science Museum, Nagurjana Sagar Dam and Nehru Zoological Park are to name a few.
