After visiting the Samadhi and paying tribute to Baba, head over to Gurusthan, the tree where Baba was first spotted meditating by the people of Shirdi. - Dwarkamayi : Dwarkamayi is the name of the mosque where Baba resided for over a span of 60 years. Wondering why a mosque has an Hindu name? Well, that is what was the philosophy of our great saint. He never distinguished between any of the religions and majorly promoted harmony. Despite being renovated, the essence of the resident remains the same. Upon entering, you will find the Dhuni, which is a fire said to be started by Baba and is never allowed to die which makes it older than 100 years. You will also discover various other ordinary articles of Baba such as the grinding stone, fireplace and a stone on which he used to sit.
- Chavadi : Located next to Dwarakamayi, it is said that Baba used to sleep every alternate day in the Chadavi and as a tradition, even today, on Thursday nights, Baba’s footprints are taken in a ceremonial procession from Dwarakamayi to Chadavi.
- Khandoba Raya Temple : Located 7 minutes away from the Shirdi Sai Temple, this is where the whole epic of Sai Baba started and this is where Mahalsapati first welcomed Sai Baba and recognized that He is no ordinary saint.
